WatchGuard Floor

Every Floor Has a Job. Coat It for That Job.

From a two-car garage to a production aisle, the kit changes but the chemistry standard does not.

Why Polyurea Beat Epoxy on Our Own Floors

Epoxy owned the floor coating business for fifty years because nothing better came along, not because it was good enough. It chalks under UV, it hot-tire peels in summer, and it grinds away under cart traffic. Polyurea fixes all three: aliphatic topcoats hold color in sunlight, adhesion runs deep enough that hot tires pull nothing, and abrasion testing puts wear resistance at three to five times typical epoxy. The trade-off used to be working time; our 1:1 and 2:1 kit systems tamed that, giving a roller-friendly window without giving back the cure speed that returns a floor to service in a day.

Below are the floors we kit for most, whether the roller is in a professional installer's hand or a homeowner's.

Garages and Home Shops

The classic full-broadcast chip floor: basecoat, chips to refusal, clear chemical-resistant topcoat. It hides slab imperfections, survives hot tires and jack stands, and cleans up with a hose. A two-and-a-half-car garage is one weekend, one kit, one person, and the finish looks like a showroom for years.

DIY note: our garage kits ship with mixed-batch instructions, spike shoes optional but recommended, and a phone number that answers.

Commercial and Retail Spaces

Showrooms, salons, vet clinics and restaurants need floors that photograph well and mop clean. Solid-color polyurea with a satin or gloss urethane topcoat delivers both, with slip-additive options where wet traffic demands it. Because the system returns to service overnight, retail installs happen after close and doors open on schedule.

Installers: chip blends and custom solid colors are stocked; matched quotes turn around in a day.

Industrial Aisles and Work Bays

At the heavy end, the same chemistry goes down thicker: high-build basecoats, optional sand-broadcast traction courses, and topcoats rated for wash chemistry, oils and coolants. Line-striping over the cured system defines traffic lanes and staging zones, and repairs to damaged slabs slot in with fast-set mender from our sibling concrete line before coating day. The whole system is engineered so a maintenance window that starts Friday night ends with forklifts rolling Monday morning.

Whatever the floor, kit math matters: order too little and you seam a pour, too much and you shelve half a kit. Send us square footage, slab condition and the look you want; we will spec the kit down to the last chip bag.
